Athens Land Trust Ribbon Cuttings and Open House
Friday, June 15th, 4:00 5:00
The Athens Land Trust invites you to celebrate our newest homeowners during national homeownership month. We will have a ribbon cutting ceremony at 51 Dublin Street with the Phinazee family on June 15th at 4:00, and then we will move the celebration to 215 Colima Avenue for a ribbon cutting and open house with the Givens family. Mayor Heidi Davison will read a proclamation in support of homeownership and light refreshments will be provided. The open house will show off the latest environmentally-friendly renovation by the Athens Land Trust made possible by their partnership with Athens-Clarke County?s Office of Human and Economic Development (HED).
ALT is a non-profit agency formed in 1994 with the dual goals of land preservation and affordable, energy- efficient housing. ALT believes in a holistic approach to sustainable development which combines environmental, economic, and community needs.
